What is your ETA?

A professor in college equated each person to a beam of light. These beams of light, if viewing earth from a birds eye view, could be seen moving from place to place. These beams of light may converge, diverge, or rest in one spot for a moment in time. However, the paths of each life is accounted for by a beam of light that began with their birth and ended at death.

These line are continuous and cross path once and others millions of times. Each persons light combines with the color, or lives, that pass over it to create rainbows of intertwined experiences. My blue light may intersect with a yellow person's light and in that moment we were green. Each of us was affected by the other, for good or bad.

This weekend feels similar in regards to beams of light. Each individual I know and care for is converging on one day and in one spot. All of the colors I have remained due to combining and intertwining with others will be proven on Sunday. Each person who has crossed my life has become a piece of the color I am. Without others my life would be one hue of blue. As it is sang in Wicked, "Because I knew you, I have been changed for good".
